I have been fighting Videogum for a while.. sure it’s funny, but Nora and Drew both love it so much, I had to disagree just to be a shit. Today they posted cat takes a ride on a Roomba and that is the best thing ever. At the moment, Meetza is terrrrrified of our Roomba, but maybe I can sit her down and have her watch this video and she’ll see how fun it looks. She watches TV now, btws. Last night I got home and she was tuning in to the 11pm news. She’s the smartest cat!

I don’t really get this.
Two people have sent it to me claiming it was “hilarious.” I don’t really see why. I get that McCain is old, Barack is younger and and Sarah Palin is even younger (and dumber). is it a reference to the Straight Talk Express? If so, it’s still not that funny. Anyway, I welcome other people’s insights.

Becky just suggested I check out our blog stats, something I had never done before. I noticed that four of the top ten search terms people used to find out blog yeseterday contained the word “nom.” The search terms included “nom nom nom,” “nom,” “oh nom” and “cat non nom nom.” Well, it that’s what it takes, I say … nom nom nom nom nom nom nom.

I can’t tell you how many birthday party celebrations I attended at Showbiz Pizza (now Chuck E. Cheese). Maybe it was a midwest thing because a most of my New York friends don’t know what it is, but I have many fond memories of these mechanical monstrosities. Two dudes- Chris Thrash and Aaron Fetcher, have reprogrammed them to sing Usher and MGMT and then posted them on youtube- brills! You can even vote on which song you want them to choreograph for the Rock-afire Explosion! next (it takes over 40 hours of work per song! woa.) HERE.
