Tweenbots
I really liked this project, which shows little robots traversing Washington Square Park in NYC with only the help of strangers.
“Every time the robot got caught under a park bench, ground futilely against a curb, or became trapped in a pothole, some passerby would always rescue it and send it toward its goal. Never once was a Tweenbot lost or damaged. Often, people would ignore the instructions to aim the Tweenbot in the “right” direction, if that direction meant sending the robot into a perilous situation. One man turned the robot back in the direction from which it had just come, saying out loud to the Tweenbot, “You can’t go that way, it’s toward the road.” There’s a video too!

Photo shoots of cool apartments that belong to cool people in NYC, BK, and LA. I totally snagged some decorating ideas from these fools. The Selby.
I like getting decorating ideas from homes that are actually being lived in, as opposed to showrooms, design mags, etc. It’s refreshing to see cute homes with everyday shit lying around and a little bit o dirt.
its like project runway and top chef combined into one and for guinea pigs
in peru, they hold an annual guinea pig festival. it includes a cute fasion show (just like project runway!) where i suppose a king and a queen are crowned:
and after they crown the winner, they eat the guinea pigs (just like top chef!). look at the gallery if you don’t believe me (its pictures 7 and 8).
